The 2023 National Old Mal Titles once again graced the shores of Crescent Head. Legends, past, present and future competed over three days in sometimes trying conditions but talent prevailed and didn't they turn it on. Yep, in front of a mob of fans cheering every good ride regardless if the surfers were friends or yet to be friends.

The 2023 Crescent Head Malibu Classic faced some trying conditions at the Point this year. Yet, the Classic seems to always laugh in the face of adversity and then triumphs overall. No different this year. The Point was dismal but the beach break was very contestable. The Classic was once again a success.
